Whitby Masters Winter Lacrose League
Registration - 2000 Season

The Whitby Masters Winter Lacrosse League Registration for the 2000
season is this Thurs. night Jan 6th , 7 - 9 and Sun. afternoon Jan 9th,
1-3 at Canucksters Tap & Grill, 900 Hopkins St, the old Whitby Inn. Just
north of the 401 off of Thickson Rd. Cost: $100 for 14 weeks, The games
are played at 7:30, 8:30 & 9:30 on Thurs. nights at Soccer City, Sunray
St in Whitby across from the new AMC24 theatre, starting Jan 27th. If
you are interested, or if you know of anyone who wants to play.. Runners
- 23 and up, goalies - 18 and up. Don't let this scare you... there are
a lot of players that fall in to the "and up" category. We plan on
having 6 teams again this year so the 1st 90 players get in. This is a
non-contact league, Ontario Masters rules will be in effect. We also
need referees, for this league as well as for our Summer tournament
schedule ...

April 15/98 The St.Catharines Masters Lacrosse League will hold it's first registration Saturday, April 18 at Merritton Arena from Noon till 4 p.m.. The league will play out of Merritton Arena. The Pacific Northwest Lacrosse Association has a B league for players
over age 32 and information about the teams and their records is at

I'm the President of Whitby Minor (WMLA) as well as a member
of the Whitby Sr. Masters Lacrosse Club. We run the Whitby
Masters Winter Lacrosse League from January to April. We
have about 60 players signed up, 25 yrs and older making up
4 teams. This league will be just finishing up around Easter. We
will be running it again next year so if there is any interest let me know.

Glen,
I enjoyed looking through your web page, and was wondering if you could
put me in the contact with somebody regarding a Masters or men's house
league program. I used to play with the Scarborough Saints a "few"
years back and remember them having quite a large men's house league.
Does any thing like this still exist? I live and work in Downtown
Toronto.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Born and raised in Huntsville where I played box lacrosse until senior
B ended. Played field for Toronto Lacrosse Club. As others who have
visited... I'm looking for information on Masters and also Senior Field.
